21 GBA companies enter the 2020 Fortune Global 500 List
On August 10th, the 2020 Fortune Global 500 List was released listing a total of 21 companies from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), that is one more than last year.
Guangdong's economy back on recovery track
Guangdong's GDP went down by 2.5 percent year on year in the first half of 2020 to 4923.42 billion RMB, according to the Statistics Bureau of Guangdong. Data show that the decline of major economic indicators such as investment, consumption, and foreign trade has shown a significant narrowing trend.
